The Door

Some men are rich beyond all dreams.

Some men are very poor.

But in the end it's all the same

as you pass through the door.

"The door that leads to where"?, you say

The door that leads to life,

beyond the life you have today.

The rich man in his coffin

and dressed in finest silk

is no better than the poor man

and others of his ilk .

The poor man lies in his box too

all covered in a shroud

and making the same journey

as the rich man and his crowd.

.4.

The poor man lies in his grave

just a wooden cross to show

where his body now is buried

and this you all should know.

.5.

The rich mans grave of marble

may be gleaming in the sun

but he's still is six feet under

just like the poorer one.
